Minprovise open day event showcases ZI

Minprovise opened its doors on 15-16 September to showcase and demonstrate the ZI-2100 cone crusher assembled in the company’s main workshop at 13a Stott Road Welshpool, Western Australia.

Guests, clients and potential customers from a variety of sectors including some big names in the mining industry strolled through the gates, with over 200 people in attendance over the two days of the event.

Attendees were able to climb the specially built and safety certified scaffolding to look inside the crusher as it operated. The chance to see the churning action of the cone crusher was something that was previously only witnesses on mine sites.

The ZI-2100 will remain assembled in the workshop for the coming months, according to Minprovise, in order for prospective buyers to see the machine demonstrated alongside the Active Gap Control system that Minprovise also introduced at the open day.

Minprovise was proud to welcome Rio Tinto and their recent new starters – Women in Mining – who got an excellent overview of mining and related services, including seeing the ZI Cone Crusher up close and in action.

On Saturday, 17 September, all Perth based staff were invited to bring their families and friends “to work”.

The event offered a wonderful opportunity for staff, from admin to reception, engineering, tradespeople through to accounting, safety and management to see what they all contribute to across the company and to share that with loved ones.

Founder and managing director, Graham Townsend, mixed with guests as they enjoyed complimentary coffees and a sausage sizzle, cooked by Townsend.

Kids enjoyed jumping on a jumpy castle, matching bolts and nuts, good old-fashioned hopscotch and chalk drawings and dressed up for a photo booth.

Over 80 people “came to work” that Saturday, with the event stated by Minprovise to hopefully be the first of many.
