Where to get a Cobble Crusher in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

During Link’s journey to defeat Ganondorf, he will encounter several kinds of weird and wonderful weapons. While some are only good for the first few hours of the game, others are very useful throughout, especially when they have been fused to strong monster parts. You’ll want to keep a Cobble Crusher on hand, as it can break through rocks. This is essential for mining underground and exploring caves.

This guide explains where to get a Cobble Crusher in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom presents players with four Regional Phenomena. They are located in Rito, Gerudo, Zora, and Goron. These locations are also where players can obtain regional weapons, and it just so happens that the Cobble Crusher is the regional weapon of Goron.

This two-handed weapon has a passive ability called Demolisher, which lets it crush rocks with ease. The weapon also deals bonus damage to Stone Taluses. If you bring a Cobble Crusher to Rohan, along with five pieces of flint and three diamonds, he’ll make a Boulder Breaker. This sturdy weapon deals 38 damage, and while this does make it powerful, Link will take a while to swing the heavy weapon.

Bokoblins in Goron will sometimes wield Cobble Crushers. Very rarely, Moblins will carry them as well. Kill these enemies if you want to snatch their weapons from them. You may also find Cobble Crushers in treasure chests scattered throughout Goron. They are typically in enemy camps. Try these spots:

The last way to get the sword is to scan an Amiibo. All the Amiibo from Breath of the Wild will work with Tears of the Kingdom, but if you’re looking for the crusher, you need the Champion Daruk Amiibo. The Amiibo can only be scanned once a day, and you are not guaranteed the sword every time you swipe.

The Cobble Crusher isn’t too great of a weapon when it comes to combat unless you’re dealing with Tears of the Kingdom‘s Stone Taluses. Nevertheless, it’s great when Link’s going mining, as it makes breaking rocks a breeze.
